“And they devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching”. Acts 2:42
Why spend time in Sunday School? Because, as Paul reminds us in 2 Timothy 4:3, we live in perilous times and as Jeremiah warns us, we must guard our hearts against straying from the path of life. Focused study helps us to do this. Our focus is purposeful for obvious reasons – what we focus our attention on affects our actions and influences the fruitfulness of our lives.
The goal of Pursuit at LWAG is to effectively advance the gospel of Jesus Christ by providing a learning environment where you can individually and corporately understand and fulfill your calling in Christ. Of primary importance to fruitful growth is a sound and purposeful knowledge of Christian principles through regular study of the Bible – God’s written word to us.
At LWAG, Pursuit provides ample opportunities for people of all ages to learn and grow in their knowledge of God’s word. Classes led by dedicated teachers are offered for children of all ages ranging from toddlers through teenage years and on into adulthood.
The following classes are offered on a weekly basis on Sunday mornings at 10:00 am:

Books of the Bible
Bible book studies focus on specific books of the Bible and will provide you with the opportunity to learn how to integrate Biblical teaching into your daily life.
Finally, Christian Living classes provide Biblical principles for the situations and circumstances of your everyday life. Examples include classes on marriage, parenting, finances, and ethics.
All of our teachers are drawn from the membership of our church and consist of godly men and women who commit themselves to providing you with knowledgeable and refreshing teaching so that your growth in the Christian faith is maximized. We emphasis active participation in our classes as we believe that this is the best way for you to learn and retain the truths that are taught.
