Wondering if it will be a dull, dry experience?
|
 |
Well, hang on, because you might be amazed at what happens here each Sunday. The Service starts our with a solid set of contemporary, uplifting, (rockin' you might say) songs to get you worshipping. Then after our prayer time, the message might kick off with a video or other illustration to grab your interest.
Pastor Barden's messages will give you solid teaching to lift you up and move you onto the right track all week. His points are all highlighted with a dual screen PowerPoint presentation and you can keep those helpful tips from slipping away by using the supplied notes. Nope, not a second to catch a nap at Living Word. It's your living meeting with Jesus each week.

What will the kids will be up to?
The same planning and high-tech attention goes into your kids Living Word experience. The nursery's are newly built and staffed by warm, caring children's ministry members. Just like leaving the kids with Mom or Grandma. Why mention this under the AV ministry. You won't have to worry about how your kids are doing because we have a system where if you are needed to check in with your kids for any reason, the number on your ID card will be displayed on a monitor (your card is given to you when you sign the kids in at the nursery or Kids Cruise and also adds safety at pickup time after services.) Nothing to distract you from the service, so just enjoy the music and Pastor Barden's message and you'll see your number if anything is needed.
Your older kids get to rock in the Kids Cruise and you'll be amazed at the time and attention going into each week's lesson Once again, the kids have full AV support to spice up their time. DVD lessons, puppet shows in the lighthouse, music from a full audio system compliment the skillfully planned lessons. Miss Sue and Mister Greg will have your kids up and singing along, engaged in the songs and the real-life object lessons. When you meet back up with your kids, be sure to ask them the 'Power Point' they learned that day!
