MOPS Ontario 2009-2010 Information

MOPS Ontario meets the second and fourth Tuesday of every month
from 9:30 AM to 12:00 PM in the Fellowship Hall of Living Word Church.

What is MOPS?

MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers) gives mothers of child(ren) aged Birth through Kindergarten the chance to meet with other moms in the same season of life. It is a place where moms have the opportunity to make new friends, share experiences, laugh together and learn biblical principles pertaining to womanhood, marriage and parenting.

MOPS also provides opportunities for social outings such as: Mom’s Night Out, Family Fun Day, Play Dates, Scrap Booking, Etc.

Who is MOPS for?

MOPS International is a non-denominational Christian organization that reaches out to all mothers of children under school age. MOPS exists to meet the needs of every mom (urban, suburban, stay-at-home, working, teen, single, married) with different lifestyles who all share a similar desire to be the very best mom she can be!!

What About My Child(ren)?

While moms are participating in the meeting, her child(ren) are bring cared for in a loving environment we call MOPPETS. Each child is divided into age-appropriate groups and are involved in planned activities that provide social growth and spiritual enrichment while being cared for by skilled volunteers who have a heart for moms and her child(ren).
If you know of any individual who would like to volunteer in our MOPPETS program, please have them contact Beth Park, the MOPPETS Coordinator at: bethpark@ymail.com to receive all the information he/she may need to volunteer.

How Can I Be A Part of MOPS?

Pre-registration is required (which can be done HERE) and there is a fee to join which covers your MOPS International Membership and our local meeting expenses; although your first meeting is free. Check out www.mops.org to see what is included in your membership.
