Here is a short list of answers to some questions you might have

I’m new to Living Word.  What should I expect in your services?
First of all, don’t worry about dressing up for church here.  Some people’s “Sunday best” at LWAG is a pair of ripped up jeans and an Abercrombie t-shirt.  Some people get decked out in suits too.  We have a come as you are policy, so don’t worry about your wardrobe!

If you’d like to know more about the church, we host a meet & greet following the 11:00 service once every three months.  It’s an informal luncheon (our treat of course) in the gymnasium for an opportunity to get to know you, and you to get to know us.  Simple as that!

I’m new to Living Word.  What kind of programs do you have for my kids?
We offer multiple programs for children and teens of all ages.  Click on the program you’re interested in knowing more about as well as a list of upcoming events for those ministries.


I’m pretty new to this Jesus stuff, how can I learn more about Him?
We call our Sunday morning discipleship program PURSUIT reminding us that we are constantly “pursuing a relationship with Christ.”  There are many classes offered in a wide range of topics.  Sometimes we offer gender, age, or phase of life specific classes.

We believe that as a church grows, the groups have to shrink.  Through our Acts Groups (small groups for adults), you’ll discover fellowship and a short Bible study in the comfort of someone’s living room.  This is a great way to get know new people and grow deeper in Christ.

We also offer a mid-week service so you can recharge between Sundays.  Our mid-week service has programs for all ages, so you can bring your whole family and know that something is available for them (even our Nursery is available on Wednesday nights).

I’m interested in being water baptized.  What should I do?
These are scheduled twice a year; Thanksgiving & Easter Sunday.  If you’re interested in signing up, fill out this form and you’ll be put on the list for the next round of baptisms.  You’ll receive a followup call by one of our pastors to verify your involvement and your understanding of water baptism.  Because baptism doesn’t earn you any points in heaven, we don’t perform “infant baptisms” as we follow the example of Christ of full immersion and believe that a person should choose to be baptized to show the world their allegiance to Christ.

I’m interested in dedicating my child to the Lord.  What should I do?
These are scheduled three times a year.  If you’re interested in signing up, fill out this form and you’ll be put on the list for the next Sunday morning baby dedication.  You’ll receive a followup call by one of our pastors to verify your involvement and your understanding of baby dedications.  We don’t perform “infant baptisms” as we follow the example of Christ of full immersion.
