OURMISSION
Our mission at LWAG is to “glorify Christ in all we do.”  We know it sounds kinda cliche’ and even out of reach.  Who really glorifies Christ ALL THE TIME, right?  We’re fallible creatures, so why seemingly set ourselves up for failure?  But that’s just it; it’s our mission statement because by nature we’re really not that good at it.  So, as a reminder of our tendency to get off track sometimes, we’ve slapped that in the middle of everything we do.  We know we’re not a perfect church because of the simple fact that we’re filled with imperfect people, so recalling our mission often is vital.

When we come up with a plan to meet a need in our community, we do so with the love of Christ in mind. It’s not LWAG we want to become famous, but Jesus!!  We don’t want people talking about how great LWAG is, but how Jesus changed their lives from the inside out!  When we create a strategy to help you feel more welcomed and create ways to help you find your way around our facility, we are hoping to remove obstacles from others meeting or growing in Christ.  We’d rather you walked away experiencing Jesus in your life way more than thinking you came to a nice church.

This not only helps us keep Christ in the center of things, but it also helps us keep everything else out of it.  Like our personal opinions and preferences.  In other words, we know what GOOD things to say “no” to so that we can say “yes” to the GREAT things God puts on our hearts.

Our hope is that when you’re here, regardless of where you are in your spiritual journey, you see our love for Christ saturating everything we do.  Our greatest joy is realizing that our love for Him was contagious, and you begin to consider following Him with your life too!
